        Having a Fire Training center in Cayuga County means firefighters do not have to travel out of county to take state mandated training courses, which saves time and money. The fire training center is open throughout the year to all fire, police, medical, and rescue agencies in Cayuga County free of charge for training on a scheduled basis.
